Malta's cancer research community convened for the first time this spring, when the Cancer Research and Innovation Hub Malta (CRIHM) brought researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and industry together to map out the country's cancer research priorities going forward.
COMED was part of that room—our CSO, Nezih Hekim, PhD, spoke about our pancreatic cancer program as part of a wide-ranging agenda spanning Malta's cancer research landscape. It's the kind of gathering that reflects well on CRIHM's organisation, and on Xjenza Malta, whose funding continues to underpin our pancreatic cancer work. For a country its size, Malta keeps punching above its weight in building real scientific infrastructure—COMED is glad to be part of that story.
